We have been in operation now over four years, originally operating from Terri Barclays residence before moving to bigger and more accessible premises on Macleay Island.
Our property sales concentrate specifically on Macleay, Karragarra and Lamb Islands.

More and more we are seeing that people find the forty-five minute commute to either the Gold Coast or Brisbane CBD from the Island a viable option.

And there is no better feeling that getting on the water taxi after a hard days work and coming home to paradise.

The last day of your working week will be like your going on a short weekend holiday, every weekend.

Our staff are all residents of the bay islands, and like yourself, were once visitors too, so we are certain we should be the best people to talk to when it comes to your future.

The state school on Macleay Island helps to maintain this island as a family orientated community and more recently Queensland Police Service opened up their local station to help promote safety within the growing community.

There are several community stores including a butcher, delicatessen, chemist, convenience store, tavern, bakery and several take away shops.

And Macleay Island can boast that it has their very own Fine Dining facility The Blue Parrot as well as the Bowls Club, Golf Club and Boat Club, all of which can cater for all tastes.

Just imagine rising in the mornings and having no cares in the world. The only decision is where to relax, what to do for the day and catch up on some rest. There is absolutely no hustle or bustle, no heavy traffic, no pressure.

Terri Barclay, Principal of T. Barclay Real Estate has owned property on Karragarra Island for around 9 years.

Starting her real estate career on Stradbroke Island, Terri decided there was a need for a more personal approach to buying and selling Real Estate on the Islands so opened an office from her own home on Karragarra Island for many years before moving the office to Southsea Shopping Village on Macleay Island.

Many mornings you can see Terri paddling her surf ski across the bay from her home on Karragarra Island to start her day.

Terry Lambert joined our team in April 2008 as our Property Manager.

Terry is well known on the islands bringing a wealth of Property Management experience with her.

Many a time you can find Terry on the road with a screwdriver and mobile phone in hand, investigating the situation before delving into a phone book for an electrician, plumber or maintenance man.

This again shows that Terry takes your trust in listing with T. Barclay Real Estate seriously and saves you any extra expense if it is not required.

Terry's casual but firm approach to rent collection is to be applauded too. No chasing up the dollars and then looking for new tenants with Terry, she looks for permanency of all her tenants and can be often seen inspecting and giving the odd call to tenants while driving past, saying, hey the lawn could do with a bit of a mow!

Donna Ankers joined T.Barclay Real Estate in July 2008.

Donna has lived on Macleay Island for 18 months and has been involved with the First Responders since her arrival.

Donna runs a landscaping and mowing business on the Island and her husband works on the Islands as a builder.

Donna brings a lively personality and passion for Real Estate to the office.

Beck has been living on Macleay Island with her family for the last 14 months and loves it.

She has worked with us at T.Barclay Real Estate for the past 12 months.

Beck is the Office Assistant and takes care of all of the general duties.

Beck is our main 'meet and greet' person in the office, so pop in any time and say hello to her and get her to make you a cup of tea.

Alan Blundell has just joined T.Barclay Real Estate as part of the sales team.

Alan has been working in Real Estate on Macleay Island for the past two years and has developed a strong reputation for being a man with integrity and for being open and honest at all times.
